They’ve performed in forests, caves, and festivals, including the Woodford and Cygnet Folk Festivals, Dark Mofo, Red Room Poetry Month, the Tasmanian Poetry Festival and the Tasmanian Storytelling Festival. Moran has received the Andrew Hardy Youth Poetry Prize, the Huon Valley Storytelling Cup, and was a 2023 National Finalist in the Australian Poetry Slam. Lutruwita has been Moran’s home for the past six years. In conversation with Moran is poet Anne Kellas. Since the 1980s, Anne's writing has appeared in a wide variety of anthologies and journals in Australia and elsewhere, and her work has appeared in the shortlists and longlists for prizes such as the Bruce Dawe National Poetry Prize, the ACU Prize for Poetry and the inaugural Liquid Amber Poetry Prize. Her 2015 collection, The White Room Poems, was shortlisted in the 2017 Tasmanian Premier’s Literary Prizes.
Meahd Farnaby will introduce Moran and Anne. Meahd is a bookworm, writer, event organiser, avid supporter of the many literary happenings about town, and believes we live in one of the most creative and beautiful places around. She is Deputy Chair of both TasWriters and A Fairer World, championing for the storytellers as well as for inclusion, kindness and celebration of diversity within Lutruwita/Tasmania.
