A celebration of 17th century music from Italy, France and Germany. This concert will open the 2025 Denmark Summer Early Music Workshops. Ensemble Barocco comprises the seven baroque specialists who are in Denmark to tutor at the annual workshops. Around 70 early music students will come to Denmark to attend the Early Music Workshops in January.Music on period instruments featuring Shaun Lee-Chen, Violin (Brandenburg Orchestra, Sydney); Brianna Morrison, Soprano (Vocal Coach, Sydney); Andy Skinner, Traverso (Australian Baroque, Perth); Stephen Robinson, Baroque Oboe (Orchestra Victoria, Melbourne University); Antonio Carrilho, Recorder (Portugal); Noeleen Wright, Cello (Australian Baroque and WA Symphony Orchestra); Stewart Smith, harpsichord (WAAPA, Director of Centre for Keyboard Heritage and Performance Research).
