La Leche League Canada Newmarket – Enrichment Meeting – Diapering and Diaper Free (Elimination Communication)It’s the perpetual debate: cloth or paper or maybe no diaper at all? Is it really easier to use paper? What diaper is best for baby? Can cloth be just as convenient? Are you curious about the parents who use “elimination communication” instead of a physical diaper?
What are the potential health benefits and risks we know to be associated with the use of either diapering option? What is safe or necessary to put on a baby’s bottom when they are being changed? Are there products we ought to avoid? Is there anything we can do to prevent or reduce the likelihood of diaper rash?
There are so many questions about diapering your baby. Join our La Leche League Mommies as we discuss different diapering solutions. We are all experts for our children, maybe you can offer your own insight in diapering or elimination communication.

La Leche League Series Meetings are open to all interested parents (pregnant, nursing and otherwise).
Series meetings tend to focus on nursing during the first year. Parents nursing children of any age are always welcome and encouraged to come share triumphs and trials, enjoy each others support, gather information and form relationships with other nursing parents .
