Enrichment Day 2026 at Alum Creek Elementary! Enrichment Day is one of the most exciting and memorable events of the year at Alum Creek! Students spend the afternoon rotating through hands-on, inspiring sessions led by volunteers from our own community. It’s a day filled with creativity, discovery, and the joy of learning something new.
On Friday, May 8th, 12:00–3:15 pm, our school will transform into a hub of exploration—featuring classes taught by parents, grandparents, neighbors, professionals, and passionate hobbyists.
We Are Looking for Instructors!
Do you—or someone you know—have a hobby, profession, or passion you’d love to share with our students?
Enrichment Day instructors lead three 45-minute classes on a topic of their choice. No teaching experience is required—just enthusiasm! Volunteers will be available to assist throughout the day.
Past sessions have included:
• Cake Decorating
• Orthopedic Surgery Demonstrations
• Woodworking
• Snowboarding
• Henna Art
From cooking to coding, crafting to engineering, gardening to music—every talent is welcome!
If you’re interested in teaching a class this year, we’d love to have you.
