About this Event
Enhancing Response to Domestic Violence & Sexual Assault
A Community-Focused Training for Advocates, Professionals, and System Partners
Domestic violence and sexual assault impact every community — but the way survivors experience, disclose, and seek help is often shaped by deep cultural, social, and historical factors. This interactive training invites participants to look beyond “one-size-fits-all” approaches and explore how community history, trust, access, and cultural identity influence both victimization and response.
Join us as we uncover practical strategies to build trust, strengthen collaboration, and deliver services that truly meet survivors where they are. Through discussion, real-world examples, and shared learning, participants will deepen their understanding of how to create safer, more inclusive pathways to healing and justice.
This session is ideal for victim advocates, law enforcement, prosecutors, community leaders, and allied professionals in Palm Beach County who want to enhance their effectiveness in working with diverse communities and expand their understanding of culturally informed advocacy.
