Not long to go now until our first ESP selection shoot of the season. This is a squadded event, which you can shoot on any of the four days between Thursday 26th and Sunday 29th March. Please contact Lakeside Sporting to book your place: 01509 881714.
If you've been, you'll know that Lakeside is a great ground to kick-off our selection shoot series. Sophie and the team are looking forward to welcoming you.
It's also the home to our fourth selection shoot between 25th and 28th June.
We will be holding 6 sporting selection shoots throughout 2026 and to be eligible for our ESP teams, you must shoot a minimum of three selection shoots from two different grounds.
Four great reasons to get involved in our Selection Series Championship:
1. Put yourself forward for selection to represent Staffordshire (in all Categories) to compete in the West Midlands Inter-Counties at Westfield Shooting Ground on 4th October, and possibly the national Inter-Counties at Park Lodge on 17th and 18th October.
2. The opportunity to be selected in A, B and C classes to represent Staffordshire at the popular WM Area Clubman competition, held this year at Mickley Hall on Saturday 19th September.
3. The series is also a championship in itself. High Gun and winners from all classes over the duration of the series will also be competing to win a trophy to keep and commemorate their win! Again, your 3 best scores to count.
4. Support Staffordshire, shoot some great targets with your friends and have some fun!
This year we have been able to purchase two sets of trophies for the series. One set for Staffordshire shooters and another set for guest shooters from outside Staffordshire, for class winners and High Gun.
Trophies will be awarded for High Gun, AAA/AA, A, B and C classes. For Staffordshire shooters, and guest shooters alike.
We will provide updates on the scores on our Facebook page as we go along, so you can track your progress for selection ahead of the Inter-Counties at Westfield on 4th October.
