About this Event
After producing the largest English Comedy Showcase we've ever done in Paris last March, Wishing Light is bringing back Open Mics!
Since running these events in 2018, more and more people have been wanting to try stand-up comedy (signups for this show filled up in 8 hours...) Open mics are essential to keeping the comedy comunity open and inclusive because they are by definition open to all performers. Our talent spans from beginners getting up on stage to the first time to professional comics seen on Comedy Central and NPR. Thanks to this mix, we provide a safe space for artists to experiment, all while guaranteeing that you will laugh!
Given the community-oriented and more intimate setting, open mics are a great way for audience members to meet people too! These events are very casual and FREE! We accept donations at the end of the show to help cover our operational costs.
