General Admission Tickets
This Ticket is for the English National Badminton Championships that will take place at the David Ross Sports Village, University Of Nottingham, 1st-2nd February 2025.
- All Attendees require a ticket for entry. This ticket admits one person only.
- You will receive an e-ticket which is required for entry to the event. Failure to provide this may result in no entry.
- Doors are scheduled to open daily at 8.30am with the first matches starting at 9.00am.
- Play may end before the scheduled finish time.
- Flash photography is not permitted during play
- No food or drink is allowed into the venue

Car Parking
On site car parking is limited but available and is free of charge over the weekend when parked in an appropriately marked bay. No parking is permitted on grassed areas. A map of campus with parking options immediately surrounding the David Ross Sports Village, on Beeston Lane can be found here: https://www.nottingham.ac.uk/sharedresources/documents/mapuniversitypark.pdf as well as the following halls of residences which are in close proximity to the sports village: Sherwood Hall, Derby Hall, Bowling Green, Ancaster, Cavendish or Willoughby Hall.
Ticket Conditions of Sale
Please read carefully. Tickets are issued on behalf of Badminton England as the event organiser and the University Of Nottingham as the venue and are subject to the following conditions. If you fail to comply with these conditions then the organiser or Venue shall be entitled to eject you from the Venue and your ticket will become invalid.
Tickets are issued subject to the rules and regulations of the event organiser and venue including but not limited to:
- Please check your tickets as mistakes cannot always be rectified.
- If the event is postponed, the event organiser will honour the ticket for the re-scheduled performance. It is the responsibility of the ticket holder to ascertain the date and the time of any re-scheduled event.
- The management reserves the right to refuse admission without giving a reason, or to eject a ticket holder for behaviour likely to cause damage, injury, nuisance or failure to comply with the reasonable request of the management, and will follow guidance of the Police in such matters which may include but is not limited to conducting security searches to ensure the safety of patrons, and refusal of admission to and ejection from the venue. Patrons who are refused admission or ejected will not be eligible for a refund.
- Every effort to admit latecomers will be made at a suitable break in the event, but admission cannot always be guaranteed and is at the discretion of the venue management.
- We regret that tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase. The event organisers cannot be held liable for any tickets which are lost, damaged or stolen. Removing any part of, altering or defacing the tickets may invalidate your ticket.
- Tickets are sold subject to the event organisers right to alter or vary the programme due to events or circumstances beyond its control without being obliged to refund monies or exchange tickets.
- Tickets are sold on behalf of the event organiser and the Venue cannot take responsibility for the content of the event.
- The unauthorised use of photographic equipment is prohibited / tapes or films may be destroyed. Live streaming is not permitted.
- The event organiser, venue management and Ticket partners accept no responsibility for any personal property lost damaged or stolen.
- Ticketholders consent to filming and sound recording as members of the audience.
- When purchasing tickets you may be limited to a specified number of tickets for an event. Tickets may be restricted to a maximum number per person, per credit/debit card and, for some events; a restriction may apply per household. We reserve the right to cancel tickets purchased in excess of this number and without prior notice.
- A ticket shall not be used for advertising, promotions, contests or sweepstakes, unless formal written permission is given by the event organiser, provided that even if such consent is obtained, use of event organiser trademarks and other intellectual property is subject to prior consent.
- Nothing in these conditions of sale seeks to exclude any liability of the venue for death or personal injury caused by its negligence, fraud or other type of liability which cannot by law be excluded or limited.
- Unless photographic proof of age is supplied, staff will make a judgement based on visual appearance prior to entry.
- A children’s ticket is valid for anyone under the age of 16 and is required for entry. Anyone 16 years and above does require to purchase an Adult ticket.
Children Under 14 Policy
As a responsible venue, the safety and comfort of our patrons is paramount. This Duty of Care is particularly relevant when protecting minors under 14 years old; as such our policy is that all children under *14 years old must be accompanied by an adult.
Parents should always be aware of their general responsibilities regarding their children’s safety in situations where they are outside their direct control, and indeed legislation detailing these responsibilities.
Babies in arms are permitted to attend the event. If they cannot sit on your lap, an additional ticket will be required.
All of these conditions of sale are governed by English Law and any disputes arising out of any transaction are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
