Jamali Maddix is a critically acclaimed stand up comedian, seen on Channel 4’s Taskmaster and BBC’s Live at the Apollo. Born in East London, his unflinching material has made him one of the strongest voices of his generation.
A Chortle Comedy Award winner, his debut solo show at the Edinburgh Festival was totally sold out and received rave reviews. As well as playing the UK’s main comedy clubs, he has toured across America, Europe, Australia, Asia and the Middle East.
Maddix hosted a documentary series on extremism titled Hate Thy Neighbor in partnership with Vice tv. His many TV appearances include Live at the Apollo (BBC One), Frankie Boyle’s New World Order (BBC Two), Stand Up for Live Comedy (BBC Three), 8 Out of 10 Cats (Channel 4) and The Last Leg (Channel 4).
🎤Kate Barron (CA)
Kate's comedic prowess has taken her to renowned events Montreal’s Just For Laughs, SirusXM Top Comic Canada and HBO's Women in Comedy Festival in Boston. Notably, she made history by becoming the first woman to clinch victory at Toronto’s notorious Comedy Brawl, triumphing over 400 fellow comedians.
In 2022 her sold out solo show Losing Myself at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival secured the Best Debut Show accolade from Entertainment Now.
She is a firm fixture at the world's premier comedy clubs including Top Secret Comedy Club, The Comedy Store, Comedy Cellar, Yuk Yuks and has a stand-up special on Comedy Central.
🎤MC Austin Shale (US)
Our resident Master of Ceremony is one of the most laid back, joke wilding, storytelling, spirit animals you can find this side of the Kung Fu Panda universe. Sensei Shale is a true master of his craft.
