About this Event
Understanding the Apprentice Journey – EPA Explained
Join us for a practical, face‑to‑face session designed to support employers, new assessors, and anyone interested in employing an apprentice.
This event will demystify the End‑Point Assessment (EPA) process and help you understand your role in supporting apprentices to succeed.
We’ll introduce City & Guilds and the EPA services we offer, explore the mandated qualifications available, and walk through what’s involved in an EPA from start to finish.
You’ll gain practical guidance and top tips on portfolio evidence and preparing apprentices for interviews and professional discussions.
The session will also focus on good practice, clearly outlining the roles of employers and assessors, and how effective collaboration supports positive outcomes.
We’ll close with an open discussion on EPA reforms, giving you the opportunity to share feedback and ask questions.
Whether you’re new to EPA, new to the assessor role, or thinking about taking on an apprentice, this session will give you the confidence and clarity to support the apprentice journey effectively.
