On 26 May, Radikal and Quickfire, Shopify Premier Partner are bringing together ecommerce founders and managers at Bosuilstadion in Deurne for a practical evening on expanding into the UK markets.
The UK is the largest single English-speaking ecommerce market in Europe. For Belgian merchants, that means no language barrier and a consumer base that shops online frequently. Brexit restructured the operational side completely though. It now involves customs declarations, UK VAT registration, DDP shipping and returns across a customs border. Brands that launch without accounting for this typically see it in their conversion rate and margins before they see it anywhere else.
