About this Event

Saturday March 24th, 9am - 12pm PACIFIC TIME by Zoom, Recording Available. This session includes distance healing, guided energy work, self-guided tools, lecture, and Q&A.

Chakras are the energy centers in our body, and represent intersections between mind, body, and spirit. Working with them can play a powerful role in sexual trauma healing, because they help us address the physical, emotional and spiritual impact. Guided chakra work is also non-invasive, and can be self-paced. Energy worker and author of Chakra Empowerment For Women Lisa Erickson has worked for 18+ years with sexual trauma survivors and will draw on her vast experience and teachings as part of this workshop. The session is a combination of lecture, guided energy work, and distance healing and will be conducted in a trauma-informed way. Contents include:

Introduction to the energy body and chakras in relation to trauma
Guided chakra work to promote feelings of safety in the body, countering disassociative tendencies
Overview of how the energy body is often impacted by sexual trauma (chakra by chakra)
Ways to utilize chakra empowerments as part of an overall trauma healing process, including how it might complement therapy
How masculine vs. feminine energy bodies tend to be impacted by sexual trauma (this is not the same as gender identification, and the information will be relevant to all), and an associated healing integrative exercise
Chakra distance healing work for countering trauma imprints at each chakra point
Two additional healings linked to the root and navel chakras related to trauma
Q&A

Note that this session is both 'informational' and a distance healing session. Lisa will conduct group healing similar to what she does in private sessions. Participants will also learn many techniques they can utilize on their own to facilitate healing. Lisa works in a trauma-informed way, and so all work will be gently paced with multiple involvement options. While video participation is encouraged, participants may use audio only and sign up with a pseudonym when logging into Zoom in order to preserve anonymity if this is a concern.

The intensive will be conducted in a private Zoom session from 9am-12pm PACIFIC TIME, and will be available by recording afterwards for those who cannot attend live (though live is encouraged, so you can ask questions.)
