🧐 What is the event about?
Ukraine’s energy infrastructure has been severely impacted by the ongoing war with Russia, leaving the country facing an extremely challenging winter. There is a pressing need for the large-scale reconstruction of energy production facilities and power grids. In the long term, Ukraine aims to build a cutting-edge, green, and digital energy system, with ambitions to become a significant exporter of electricity to Europe.
By bringing together key stakeholders from academia, industry, and government, we aim to explore opportunities for enhanced international collaboration in developing future energy solutions, spanning the entire value chain—from applied research to innovation to industrial implementation.
The evening will round up with a panel discussion that will explore ways to strengthen energy cooperation: What are the opportunities and challenges? Why should Norway take a leading role? What tools are already available, and what might be missing?

* Jorun Sigrid Nossum, Director of the Department for the Nansen Support Programme for Ukraine

* Andriy Moskalenko, First Deputy Mayor of Lviv (joining online)
