Welcome to Energy-Breathwork Journey, led by Miami based Somatic Healer Mallory Maran! This 90-minute ceremonial experience will integrate breathwork, evocative music, somatic release, individualized energy healing, and sharing afterwards.
You will feel a transformation in your psyche, physical body, and spirit. Your system will be primed to let go of anything that’s been weighing you down — including stress, stuck emotions, stored trauma, limiting beliefs, or energies connected to physical health symptoms, digestive blocks, inflammation, or pain.
We will begin with a short talk to set the space, provide education on the practice, and share intentions. We will then go into a 50-minute breathing journey alongside powerful music. Participants will be guided in a rhythmic, circular breath that helps us drop into a shifted state of consciousness. This breath has ancestral and shamanic roots, and that connection is felt throughout the space, the music, and the way Mallory guides.
As a trained Somatic Therapist and Energy Healer, Mallory holds the space and facilitates energy work and light touch when called to help participants go deeper.
After the Breathwork, Mallory will help participants integrate what came up, connect the dots, and root into their experience. Participants say it's like years of therapy in one session, and a natural high for both the body and mind!
Contraindications:
1. Epilepsy
2. Detached retina
3. Glaucoma
4. Prior diagnosis by a healthcare professional of bipolar or schizophrenia
5. Osteoporosis that is serious enough whereby moving around actively could cause potential issues.
6. High blood pressure that is not controlled with medications
7. Pregnancy (if you are pregnant please let the host know and a different process will be instructed)
8. Cardiovascular disease and/or irregularities including prior heart attack
9. Family history of aneurysms
10. Hospitalization for any psychiatric conditions or emotional crisis
11. Strokes, seizures, TIAs or other brain/neurological conditions or disease
12. Any other medical conditions which would impair or affect ability to engage in any activities that involve intense physical and/or emotional release
Instructions:
* Be prompt! Please arrive 10-15 minutes early. Once the breathwork journey begins, we do not want to disrupt the integrity and safety of the space.
* Dress comfortably
* Bring an eye mask and yoga mat. Mallory will have extra eye masks if needed.
* No heavy meals at least 60 minutes prior
* Bring a water bottle for the practice.
* Bring a blanket, journal, pillow for your head — anything that helps you feel comfortable!
* Be open! All you need to do is show up and you'll have exactly the experience you're meant to have. No two journeys are ever the same!
