About the Program

In partnership with the Embassy of Japan in the United States and the Japan America Society of Oklahoma, funded by the Japan Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the East-West Center in Washington is in Oklahoma to promote its Japan Matters for America initiative. As part of the Asia Matters for America/America Matters for Asia program, JMA maps subnational trade, investment, diplomacy, security, education, and people-to-people connections between Japan and the United States.

Join us for an informative discussion at the Science Museum of Oklahoma with local experts on Japan-Oklahoma relations, with video remarks from Ambassador of Japan to the United States Amb. Shigeo Yamada. Following the opening panel and speakers, network with likeminded professionals during a catered reception.
