About this Event
Endo Flow: a pop-up dance & support group
Endo Flow is an in-person event for folks managing pain with endometriosis. Connect with others who get it, and use the space to re-connect with your body through whatever dance feels good.
You can dance your heart out or move gently and softly, however you wish. This is your space to feel flow , find community, and learn a bit about managing pain. No judgement, just good energy, music, and real talk. Come as you are!
A free event (with optional donation to the dance instructor) . No dance experience necessary. All ages and genders welcome. Wear comfy clothes to move in.
Folks managing endometriosis will be centered, but are welcome to bring a friend along too for suppport if it's helpful.
Accessibility: ASL interpreting is available, upon request. This event is regrettably not wheelchair accessible, as Hixon Dance Studio is on the second floor. Other seating support will be provided (chairs, bolsters, blankets). Water available.
This event is co-facilliated with dance educator Alicia Hann and organized by Emma Jean Reasoner, a Occupational Therapy doctoral candidate at The Ohio State University, as a component of their capstone research project.
