Join us for Endangered Species Day at the Greensboro Science Center on Saturday, May 16, from 9 am to 3 pm! Explore the zoo and aquarium to learn more about the endangered species here at the GSC and discover ways to support their wild counterparts. Endangered Species Day scavenger hunts will be available again with a chance to win a one-of-a-kind painting from an animal artist! Don’t miss our education tables stationed around the GSC (inside and out) to learn more about how you can make a difference in conservation efforts around the world.
The Cole Family Monarch Conservation Center and Butterfly House will be opening for the season at 10 am! Stop by to see native butterflies up close, and discover ways to put conservation into action to help pollinators.
This year we are excited to also be partnering with PBS North Carolina to welcome the Rootle Roadster Tour. The day will feature partners from all over the state of North Carolina!
Endangered Species Day activities are included with general admission or GSC membership.
