Join us for an afternoon of sketching at the beautiful Sign of the Takahe - one of Christchurch’s most iconic heritage buildings, nestled beneath the Port Hills.With its stone architecture, arches, sweeping views, surrounding greenery, and cosy interior spaces, this location offers endless inspiration for sketchers of all styles and experience levels. Come spend a relaxed afternoon drawing together and connecting with fellow creatives.
Bring your sketchbook, favourite materials, and something warm - looks like it will be a cold afternoon!
We will start at 1pm as usual and meet around 3:30pm for a throwdown and group photos (and maybe something hot to drink.)
All skill levels are welcome, from complete beginners to experienced sketchers.
As always: we draw on location, support each other, and share the world one sketch at a time.
