About this Event
RSVP by February 20th
Dr. Kilner, alongside of his wife, Suzanne, have developed a website to assist you in making some of those challenging decisions when it comes to how you want to live those last precious days of your life. Or aid you when you might have questions concerning the care of a loved one. There are no lawyer or estate planner fees to pay or even ads to have to watch. It is completely private--one enters no personal information whatsoever and when one leaves the site there is no record of the choices the person has made. You will be equipped to create a document that will clearly tell your wishes so your doctors and loved ones do not have to worry or guess what you might have desired. This “at your own pace, run your own race” document is a necessary gift to all who care for us. It can be changed at any time but will also direct how you want those last days to be handled should you be unable to speak for yourself. You'll be equipped to help your loved ones to create their own document, which every adult should have.
This is an invaluable tool and a groundbreaking resource. In addition, the new online tool recently received excellent reviews by the Chicago Tribune and Moody radio:

Plan to join Deb Torres and Dr. John Kilner, along with his wife, Suzanne, for this informative evening.

He was the first Director of Bioethics Degree Programs at Trinity International University and the first President of The Center for Bioethics & Human Dignity (CBHD) based in Deerfield, Illinois.
