About this Event
Interested in celebrating love beyond the sentimental, in ways that are tangibly beneficial to those you love?
Got complicated feelings about departed family and loved ones, and have things to communicate to them?
Love is a verb.
Done thoughtfully and well, end of life planning can be a gift to your loved ones. When not prepared for, the bereaved can have taxing logistical messes to deal with, at a time of deep grief.
Join Death Project Manager and Postal Service for the Dead for an evening of end-of-life planning and reflection, and a discussion of planning as an act of love.
In the wake of Valentine’s Day, and with love as our guide, we will reflect on our death experiences and get strategic in our death prep.
Participants will have the opportunity to write letters of praise or frustration to their departed and think of what they might want to do differently in reflecting on their own mortality.
Come join us for discounted Valentine’s Day candy, greeting cards, and tactical checklists.
Monday, February 23rd. 6 - 8PM at Sparrow Funeral Home. Suggested donation $10 - $25 to cover materials; no one turned away for lack of funds.
