Guest Speakers include:
Carmen Joy Imes — Professor Imes is Associate Professor of Old Testament at Biola University and is passionate about helping students and other laypeople engage with the Old Testament and discover its relevance for Christian identity and mission. She is a frequent contributer to podcasts and conferences and is the author, most recently, of Being God's Image: Why Creation Still Matters. We are delighted that Dr. Imes is joining us.
Maria Ezcurra is an Argentinean-Mexican-Canadian artist and educator living in Tiohtià:ke/Montréal. She has a PhD at in Art Education from Concordia University and has taught at a number of universities and organizations in Mexico and Canada. She has also developed and facilitated public, participatory and community art projects in diverse contexts. Her areas of research are participatory art practices; dress and gendered embodiment; memory, identity, belonging and immigration.
Matthew Ruttan is pastor at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Barrie, Ontario. He is the author of two books, including The Up Daily Devotional and is host of The Pulse Podcast.
Andrea Bourne Foster is an educator who specializes in disability ministry and aims to help families affected by disability to experience the joy of the Lord and find a place of belonging within the Church Body.
