We're collecting....JUNK! To provide free adult art workshops - we rely on supply donations by our local community to keep these classes low cost to our nonprofit under our grant received by The Community Foundation of North Central Wisconson and NO COST to the students.Junk Assemblage was coined it in 1961, referring to sculptures, paintings, or mixed-media production made from scrap metal, broken-up machinery, objects from rubbish dumps, rags and wastepaper.
Students will assemble their works out of what's in your junk drawer. Otherwise known as found art students would be interested in recycling and using this junk:
Old Toys
Broken small machinery parts (Gears, etc)
Buttons
Crates
Utencils
Wood Scraps
Metal Scraps
Broken Jewelry
Porcelain or Ceramic Plates
Tin Canisters
