Mark your calendar for this year’s drive-thru event on April 22, 2026, from 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. at Second Harvest Food Bank’s headquarters, 3330 Shorefair Drive, Winston-Salem, NC 27105.
This year, every ticket purchase offers soup for two—choose from a menu of simple yet delicious classic favorites throughout the 25 years of Empty Bowls — lovingly crafted by our talented chefs. Along with your meal, you’ll receive two beautiful pottery bowls created with compassion for our cause by the artists of the Sawtooth School for Visual Art, local artisans, and community groups.
Each bowl represents the strength and resilience of our neighbors and the power of your support in nourishing and uplifting local families.
To complete your meal, enjoy fresh bread and a dessert. Add a bottle of wine to complement your meal.

Buy tickets and select your soup for the 2026 Empty Bowls. Ticket prices start at $70 for two. Check out our Chef's Table Raffle Opportunity, too! Sales close April 12.

On April 22, arrive at Second Harvest HQ at your scheduled pick-up time.
🍲 Pick Up Your Meal
Our staff and volunteers will greet you at your car, ask your name, then bring your order, which will include your selected soup (ready for reheating), bread, dessert, and two (2) beautiful unique pottery bowls selected by Second Harvest's staff.
