About this Event
U-Turn Parkinson's presents EmpowerED: Conversations for Living Well, a monthly, free educational series designed to support people as they age. Each session focuses on practical, empowering topics that help individuals maintain holistic wellness and make informed decisions—physically, emotionally, financially, and socially.
April's topic is "Aging in Place: Your Home, Your Choices", brought to you by Victoria Lifeline.
This upbeat presentation shares practical tips for living safely and confidently at home, including fall prevention, staying active, and understanding the available supportive resources that can help as your needs change. With the right planning and resources, aging in place is possible, and it starts with understanding your options.
"Aging in Place" is presented by Vicki Russenholt, Accredited Fall Prevention Educator at Victoria Lifeline. A passionate advocate for older adults, Vicki brings over a decade of experience supporting safe, independent living, with a background in family caregiving, home care business ownership, fall prevention education, and volunteer work with the Alzheimer's Society.
EmpowerED: Conversations for Living Well is made possible with the support of Cambrian Credit Union.
