Empower Girls with Tech - Designing Journals With Canva

Empower Girls with Tech: Designing Journals in Canva is back!

Through a series of workshops, young girls will learn to design and create their own personalised journals using Canva, blending ICT skills with creativity, storytelling, and imagination. These workshops are about creativity, self-expression and making something that’s 100% by the participant for the participant.

Whether your daughter wants to use her journal to reflect, plan, write, dream, track her goals or just doodle, this is her space, her story, her design. Participants will design a journal that reflects their vibe and:

• Learn to create custom pages like mood trackers, vision boards, affirmations & more
• Use Canva like a pro (no design experience needed)
• Boost your creativity, self-worth and wellbeing

Saturday, 23rd May Session: Is for girls who are not familiar with using Canva.

Tuesday, 26th May Session: Is for girls who know how to use Canva or have been on the earlier workshops that were held in February. This session will cover intermediate journal elements and professional journal cover design.

By the end, of the series of workshops we will send completed journals to a professional printer.
