Supervisors and managers have a shared responsibility with HR in making sure that their interactions and relations with employees are compliant with federal and state employment laws, and supportive of a positive workplace culture. By the end of this virtual, instructor-led training session, participants will be able to:
· Understand the role and responsibilities of supervisors when it comes to employment-related legal compliance
· Recognize when key employment laws are compromised and what, if any, action is required
· Apply tools for the development and maintenance of effective documentation
· Prevent unlawful and unprofessional workplace behavior, such as discrimination, harassment, and bullying
