About this Event
Employee commutes and work experience play big roles today in job satisfaction, retention and recruitment, productivity, and more. Yet, higher costs and longer distances traveled for work have made commuting much more expensive, time-consuming, and draining for workers. The commute has become a greater pain point for employees—and a sizable one for employers, especially those requiring staff to spend more time in the office!
This FREE hybrid (in-person or online) Employer Commute Solutions Summit at Nike’s World Headquarters brings together top experts to illuminate how difficult commutes—made yet worse by the steady return of traffic congestion—impact the workforce, business, and economic activity. We’ll explore the vital intersection between the commute, work experience, and employee engagement and how improving commutes can serve HR, operational, health and wellness, and sustainable business needs. Plus, gain useful insights and strategies for delivering impactful employee commute support from a diverse expert panel of Oregon employers and learn about free resources, tools, and support services you can put to use.
And, by attending in-person, you’ll get to network with peers over breakfast and lunch, talk one-on-one with experts about building employee commute support programs and free support services, and get a guided tour of Nike’s World Headquarters commuter amenities.
Note: If your schedule doesn’t allow for you to attend in-person, there’s an online option—see our online registration page here. You can also change your registration to online later, if needed.
