About this Event
American Red Cross CPR Class
Are you concerned that you wouldn't know what to do if your loved one with Parkinson's was choking or became unresponsive? This is your opportunity to learn the skills that can save a life. We are offering this class for care partners and other family caregivers who provide assistance to their loved one with PD.
The Adult CPR/AED course incorporates the latest science and teaches students how to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies for victims about 12 years and older. Course includes choking. Students who successfully complete this course will receive a certificate for Adult CPR/AED valid for two years.
The class is for care partners and other family members directly involved in caring for their loved one with PD. This class is physically active with the expectation that particpants will demonstrate the ability to perform CPR including effective chest compresions. Registration is limited to 12 particpants, sign up early!
PRO would like to thank Sean Richardson with CPR Lifesaving Inc. for making this class available to the members of our community who are care partners and familiy caregivers.
