Introduction
You will learn about the importance of onboarding and the purpose of it in the organisational setting.
Goal of Onboarding
This session will focus on things like how to start a business and keep costs down, how to reduce tension among employees, and how to manage expectations. Bring your questions on how to make the journey of starting a business easier.
Onboarding Preparation
This session will walk you through the required steps for onboarding your employee. Get ready for this preparations!
Onboarding Checklist
This session will focus on checklists and why they are so important. Provide instructions on how to use them. Upon conclusion of the session, participants will understand how to create a checklist.
Creating an Engaging Program
Participants will create a new-worker onboarding process that facilitates the assimilation of new co-workers into the organisation. What they strive to do is provide an environment for the company to evolve and their coworkers to thrive.
Follow up, with New Team Members
In this course we will be learning about how to become mentors, learn about initiating mentor relationships and check-ins for progress. Participants will also practise establishing mentor times with their mentees. Moreover, through this course all the tools needed to serve as mentors are also provided for.
Establishing Expectations
This workshop will teach you how to: (1) define what you want to hear; (2) create listings of the ways to improve or be better; and (3) give verbal expectations and put them in writing.
Assignment of Tasks
If you plan to attend this session, you will acquire information about task-based distribution of work. Get acquainted with some practical ways to assign a task to an individual.
Delivering Feedback
During this course we’ll discover the type of feedback what tools can be used to deliver feedback, and the many types of feedback. Participants will leave with the know-how in conducting a discussion with a colleague.
Conclusion of Workshop
At the end of today’s session, participants will have acquired a sophisticated perspective on how to develop an action plan and take subsequent steps towards their objectives. They will be able to raise any lingering questions and concerns to the team too.
