Empire Strikes Brass is a high-energy brass funk collective based out of Asheville, NC. They blend the power of a classic New Orleans–style brass band with a modern edge, pulling in funk, rock, hip-hop, and soul influences. Onstage, they’re known for their huge horn section, driving rhythm, and party-starting energy that gets crowds dancing.
Their sets often weave together original music with reimagined covers, heavy grooves, and even political or social undertones, making them both fun and thought-provoking.
