Emotions, Loss & Resilience - in Perimenopause —
Host: Simone Moniz
Info: A Circle Conversation with Psychologist Simone Moniz
Perimenopause is more than a hormonal transition. For many women, it brings emotional shifts, grief, and a sense of loss around capacites they once relied on -emotional regulation, resilience, and ways of coping that previously worked.
This evening offers a thoughtful, psychologist-led space to explore those changes together, in conversation and community.
Understanding Emotional Change in Perimenopause
Simone will begin the evening with grounded psychoeducation on emotions, unmet needs, and the grief and loss that can emerge during perimenopause - particularly around abilities we once relied on but no longer feel accessible.
Guided Circle & Shared Reflection
Participants will be invited into a facilitated round table conversation, exploring
• whether these emotional changes resonate
• how emotions were managed in earlier stages of life
• what feels different now when old strategies no longer work and
sharing is always optional!
