About this Event
In the workshop you will needle felt your very own 5 inch Emotional Support Chicken. Using wool and a felting needle, you will create a charmingly chunky little bird with plenty of personality. No two chickens will be the same. Your chicken. Your way.
All materials are provided, and no experience is needed.
Cost: $50 per person plus HST. Includes all materials, instruction, and tea or coffee.
Make a weekend of it: A discounted room rate is available at the beautiful Trinity House Inn for workshop participants.
Angela Hoyt, a graduate of Fleming College’s Haliburton School of Art and Design Fibre Arts program, will show you the basics, offer tips, and cheer you on.
The Fine Print
• No cancellations. If you cannot attend, you are welcome to send a friend in your place.
• Felting needles are very sharp and require fine motor dexterity. You will learn safe handling and finger saving techniques before you start.By registering, you accept the risk of working with a sharp needle.
