One branch of the autonomic nervous system is activated through experiences of safety and connection. But what creates emotional safety for the nervous system, both in relation to Self and in connection to another?
This is the question we'll be exploring and answering in this workshop.
Topics covered include:
- what emotional patterns and behaviours bring the nervous system OUT of safety
- what emotional behaviours & skills anchor the nervous system INTO safety
- the single most important element/skill to create emotional safety in connection to self and others (with opportunities to practice this skill)
- a Somatic process to connect to the heart and encode a way to relate to yourself with more safety and kindness
Our time together will include lots of role plays and interactive exercises to give your nervous system embodied experiences of safety, connection and relational well-being.
You will walk away with more self-awareness and tools to cultivate emotional safety with yourself and others.
