🔥 Mindful Juniors Presents: Big Feelings Club – Managing Anger
Learning Healthy Ways to Express Big Emotions
A Mindful Juniors Workshop | Ages 7–12
“I’m so angry.”
Anger is one of the most powerful emotions children experience.
It can show up as shouting, tears, stubbornness, silence or even tummy aches.
But anger is not a “bad” emotion.
It is a signal.
When children learn to understand their anger instead of fearing it or acting it out, they build confidence, emotional safety and self-control.
This structured small-group workshop helps children recognise anger early, understand what it is trying to communicate and learn safe, healthy ways to express it.
🌱 What This Workshop Is About
In this session, children will explore:
• What anger feels like in the body
• Common triggers that spark big reactions
• The link between thoughts, feelings and actions
• The difference between feeling angry and acting aggressively
• Safe and constructive ways to express anger
We teach children that:
Anger is allowed.
Hurtful behaviour is not.
Through storytelling, guided discussion and creative activities, children will learn to pause, reflect and respond more safely when emotions run high.
🧠 Skills Your Child Will Build
This workshop supports:
• Emotional awareness and vocabulary
• Impulse control and regulation
• Problem-solving skills
