Emmy Hour has been fronting Brisbane/Meanjin band The Cutaways for nearly a decade, but has been eager to spend some time on the solo path. What has mostly been a side project of occasional solo shows and tours has now shifted into full focus- 2025 marked the year she stepped forward with The Numero Uno EP.The record dives deep into the intensity of alcohol addiction, tracing Emmy's journey through struggle, recovery and the profound freedom, calm and clarity that sobriety has brought.
Emmy will be playing at Blah Bar Friday 23rd January as part of her "Tow me to Tamworth" tour, and will be joined on the night by local band Dahlia and solo act Pippin
