Emmanuel Sonubi
Emmanuel Sonubi is a London-based comedian whose ascent in the comedy world has been nothing short of meteoric. From his debut in 2016, he quickly transitioned from open mic nights to headlining prestigious stages, including hosting BBC's Live at the Apollo.
His commanding presence and sharp wit have earned him nominations for the Edinburgh Comedy Award for Best Show (2023) and Best Newcomer (2022), as well as a Chortle Award nomination for Best Club Comic (2023) along with the Mervyn Stutters Spirit of the Fringe award for best show (2025). Raised in North London as the youngest of six children, he draws from his upbringing and his time working as a bouncer in some of the city's most notorious clubs.
