☀️ Kuubalaisen salsan tekniikka ☀️
Tällä workshopilla syvennytään salsan teknisiin peruspalikoihin: painonsiirtoihin, vartalon käyttöön ja liikkeen laatuun. Workshopilla harjoitellaan, miten vähemmän voi olla enemmän, kun panostetaan tekniikkaan ja liikkeeseen.

Salsassa on voimaa ja historiaa! Tällä workshopilla yhdistellään salsan energistä dynamiikkaa ja kuubalaisen rumban liikkeitä ja tyylittelyjä.

"Juureni kuljettavat kylmään pohjoiseen, mutta sisimpäni ovat perinpohjaisesti sulattaneet afro-kuubalaiset rytmit.
Sain ensikosketukseni itseilmaisuun tanssin kautta pienenä kuusivuotiaana pirpanana, ja teemat musiikin, rytmin ja kehollisuuden ympärillä ovatkin kantaneet ja värittäneet elämääni aina.
Tunneillani viemme huomiota pois koreografioiden ja askelten suorittamisesta 👉🏼 juurevaan ja laadukkaaseen liikkeeseen, sillä vähemmän mutta hyvin tehty kantaa pidemmälle kuin liikaa ja kiirehtien.
Oman kehoyhteytemme vahvistaminen auttaa meitä löytämään tanssiimme sitä syvyyttä, jota kuubalainen liikekieli huokuu.🔥

Welcome to immerse yourself in the world of Cuban dance at Emma Hirvonen’s workshops in March! Emma will take you on a journey deeper into your dance – away from performance and towards rooted, quality movement. ✨

The open workshops are open to anyone who has already mastered the basic steps of salsa. The intermediate workshop is suitable for those who have been dancing salsa for at least a couple of years.

☀️ Cuban Salsa technique☀️
This workshop will delve into the technical basics of salsa: weight transfer, body control and quality of movement. The workshop will practice how less can be more with an emphasis on technique and movement.

Salsa has power and history! This workshop combines the energetic dynamics of salsa with the movements and stylings of Cuban rumba.

“My roots take me to the cold north, but my heart has been thoroughly stolen by Afro-Cuban rhythms.
I first came into contact with self-expression through dance at the age of six, and the themes around music, rhythm and physicality have always carried and coloured my life.
In my classes, we take the focus away from choreography and step execution 👉🏼 to rooted and quality movement, as less done well will carry you further than too much done in a hurry.
Strengthening our own body connection helps us to find the depth in our dance that Cuban movement language exudes 🔥
