Some of the earlier releases were with Djosos Krost, Pharfar, Non +, Robin Hannibal, Ronni Vindahl, Lulu Rouge, Dariusz Steiness, Bjørn Winnem, Black Sports.
With Tormod Tegner & DJ Johnson from E.Turn.A.T Records he has released “Build Your Town” now in 2024. Link: orcd.co/buildyourtown
"I believe music is an universal language that connects us.”
Originating from Funen & Kenya, Emma is a Copenhagen based young reggae lead singer. She started singing reggae with her aunts Tina & Wendy as part of the group Chelang, a female vocal trio that still exists.
In 2020 Emma and Andreas Youngblood teamed up in a collaboration aiming on developing a new kind of fresh but tender reggae style. Out of that collab came: “One Day At A Time”, Emma’s Debut Release (E.TURN.A.T RECORDS 2020).
Lyrics of everyday life, contemporary issues, Love and Hate are amongst the themes processed by the songwriter.
These fruitful times of reggae and vibes will surely bring more Reggae & Dancehall from Emma Cherono.

Turnaties is a new Danish hard-hitting and well-playing reggae band.
The members of The Turnaties got lots of experience and personality, they have been playing together for many years, both in The Turnaties, but also across the Danish reggae scene and in other Danish music environments.
The Turnaties posses a wide variety of musicians with different personalities, but they all share a common passion for reggae music.
The band uses the classic reggae set-up with drums, guitar, keys and bass, but the band are from time to time expanded with a brass section and some choir singers! Despite this classic line-up, however, there is no shortage of innovation and modern approach to the genre. The band plays with a very special and direct presence and freshness. This must be seen in the light of the use of E.TURN.A.T's artists like EMMA CHERONO and TUCO IFILL, who's textual universe revolves around universal and easily related, but great topics; love, identity, meaning, encouragement and celebration! All described in a very particularly charming and extremely personal and everyday-lyric.
Aslak Thomas on the drums.
Justo Gambula on the bass.
Tormod Tegner on the guitar.
Jakob Broholm on the keys.
