Emily Magpie is a Bristol-based artist, producer, and multi-instrumentalist crafting alternative pop that moves between worlds. Her 2024 album There Are Other Forms of Strength received acclaim from BBC 6 Music (Tom Ravenscroft, Nabihah Iqbal, Deb Grant, Emily Pilbeam), NPR, Crack Magazine, and Apple Music.

Touring the album across the UK, Emily and her band supported Dizraeli and performed at festivals including Green Man, Shambala, Nozstock, and Bristol Harbour Festival.
Her upcoming work deepens her exploration of oral storytelling, folklore, and transformation- melding experimental electronics with motifs drawn from mythology, nature, and sociohistory. Created from her garden cabin studio in Bristol, the project features contributions from long-time collaborators Kieran Ball and Max Harrison, as well as new additions including Joel Anthony Patchett.
