Join us for an unforgettable evening as acoustic pop/folk singer-songwriter Emily Burdette takes the stage for her highly anticipated all-originals show, accompanied by a full band for the very first time. Titled “This Is Where It Starts,” this performance marks the launch of Burdette’s second full-length album, an exciting return after 13 years since her debut album, “Make Believe.”

The night will kick off with a dynamic performance by one of Wilmington’s favorite trios, Striking Copper. Comprised of the iconic front-women Allie and Jacquie Lee, known for their powerhouse vocals, alongside the talented Matt Donnelly on guitar and vocals, this trio is sure to captivate the audience. Their latest release, “A Trip Around the Sun,” is available now on iTunes.

Singer/songwriter Emily Burdette is based in Wilmington, North Carolina and has been performing in town for the past ten years as well as other areas of North Carolina. She currently has music on all streaming platforms. She is working on her next studio album, which is projected to be completed by March of 2026. Her band, Emily Burdette & the Elements formed in 2025 and this will be the first time they release music as a collaborative effort. Members include drummer Jason Cecil, electric guitarist Joe Pierce, and bass player Chad Smith, and harmony vocals by Jordan Hughes.

Hailing from the hills of New York, the band formed in 2013 as a four-piece, blending the talents of these siblings with their creative counterparts Matthew Donnelly (vocals, rhythm guitar) and Frank Cacciutto (drums). Finding their way to a new home on the Southern shoreline, they found themselves in the cultural hub of Wilmington, NC. Seamlessly settling into a new dynamic, they have built an incredible fan base over the years with tours spanning the eastern shore board. An intriguing contrast of light and dark, feminine and masculine, their lyrics bleed passion, drawing from humanity with an undeniable vulnerability.
Known for their passionate dedication to their music, the respected outfit has released and sold multiple full-length albums with a collection of cinematic music videos and a captivating narrative arc that beautifully accompanies their latest album, titled ‘A Trip Around the Sun’.
