Emergency Preparedness Training @ Guttman CC

We’re excited to share an upcoming opportunity to help us all be more informed, prepared, and resilient! The Office of Diversity, Equity & Compliance (ODEC) at Guttman CC, in partnership with the New York State Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Services, is hosting a Citizen Preparedness Training on Wednesday, May 13 at 10:00 AM in Room 401. This interactive training will provide practical guidance on how to prepare for emergencies and respond effectively to both natural and manmade disasters. Participants will learn how to develop a family emergency plan, build a basic emergency supply kit, and understand the steps they can take to stay safe during unexpected situations. As an added bonus, each participant will receive a preparedness kit, and light refreshments will be provided. We hope you will join us for this important and empowering session.
