Join Colorado's psychedelic community at EMERGENCE, a first-of-its kind, face-to-face Psychedelic Education Festival on Saturday, October 1st 2022 in RiNo Denver.Psychedelics are re-entering our world. In November, Coloradans will vote on legalizing their supported use.
"Before the vote, we want to celebrate our community and give voice to folks who know psychedelics best," said Dr. Shannon Hughes, event organizer and CSU professor who studies underground use. “Not hiding in the underground anymore, it’s time to normalize psychedelics as legitimately part of health and healing, and invite the greater public in for dialogue and learning.”

What's happening at EMERGENCE:
- Educational booths hosted by national and local grassroots educational, research, and advocacy organizations at the vanguard of the movement.
- Presentations by leaders in the psychedelic field
- Live DJs, artists, food trucks, psychedelic photo booth
- Activities for kids and psychedelic education for parents
- Vendors’ market with a local flair
- Interactive workshops, such as art and movement integration
- Open Q&A sessions with: Psychedelic lawyers, doctors, and therapists, End of life coaches using psychedelics, Indigenous voices, Folks using psychedelics in their recovery
Hosted by The Nowak Society, a community-led drug education and professional networking nonprofit. Run by academics, therapists and guides, we've hosted the Psychedelic Professionals meetups across Northern Colorado for more than four years.
The After party is held at Your Mom's House in Capitol Hill. 8 p.m. until late. Music from DJ's ST Frequency and Jay Vetrano from the Detroit music scene.
Tickets are available now. Prices range from $20 to $100. However, no one will be turned away! Accessibility Tickets are available free of charge, no questions asked! We hope to see you there!
"Psychedelics have always been used in communities. Emergence is a place for us all to gather," says Bri Bendixsen, an event organizer and a therapist on a clinical trial studying MDMA-assisted psychotherapy for Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. "Whether you're a seasoned psychonaut or new to psychedelics, this community event will have something for you!"
