Warehouse Concert Hall Presents
EMERG + The Somber Spirits + Julia Godden
Hailing from St.Catharines, Ontario, EMERG has more days ahead than they do behind. Despite them all still being under 20, that hasn’t stopped them from headlining the local newspapers and getting placed on the front of UK’s biggest alt-mag CLASH Magazine. Their music derives itself from the ashes of Canadiana alt-rock, but they are deadset on trailblazing their own legacy. Their live shows are known for simultaneously being both a party and an intimate conversation, with their ability to juxtapose between moods on a dime becoming the band’s x-factor. EMERG has released its debut album, an EP and two standalone singles, all in under a year. With plans already in progress to get started on their sophomore record, it’s clear these young bucks show no signs of stopping!

The Somber Spirits, a two-piece rock alternative band from Niagara. featuring Joe Casciano (vocals/guitar) and Reed Rosiana (drums). Both grew up with music in their families. Through their teens, they got inspiration from bands like Nirvana, Queens of the Stone Age, Foo Fighters, and Alice in Chains. Joe and Reed met in their early twenties and started their music journey in a band called Pixel Planet. When the pandemic started in 2020, the band took a hiatus. In 2024 Joe and Reed reunited and formed their current band The Somber Spirits. Having grown as artists and having a fresh new start, the hunger, drive, and ambition came instantly. Without a bass player, they were forced to experiment with their sound. A mix of low and high octaves through thunderous riffs and explosive energetic drumming. The duo is a very full-sounding band with great stage presence. Since 2024 they have played in Niagara, Hamilton, and Toronto and they show no signs of stopping as they continue to write new music to be released in the near future.

Julia Godden is an indie-folk singer-songwriter from Acton whose music is rooted in authenticity. With her voice, acoustic guitar, harmonica, and foot tambourine, she creates stripped-back, emotionally honest performances that feel more like conversations than concerts. Her songwriting embraces vulnerability, capturing both the beauty and the ache of being human.
