Create a stunning clay jug using slab building techniques, textures and pressed shapes. Around 5 weeks after the class these will be fired and glazed using a deep emerald green glaze creating a gorgeous art piece to display in your home or gift to another. The jug size is approximately 15cm x 12cm and will be water tight once glazed so you can display your favourite flowers with style.The venue is upstairs in the beautiful Alfred Memelink Artspace gallery where we will create overlooking the sea and surrounded by stunning art works.
Working with clay is good for the soul! Immersing in a gentle creative activity helps to switch off a busy mind, and making decorative vessels is fun and achievable even if this is your first time using clay.
Price: $130 per person, which includes all materials, glaze and double firings
All materials are provided so all you need to do is turn up ready to have some fun and creativity
