Originally from New Brunswick, Canada, Brent Dawes has been working in the travel industry for 20 years. He started his extensive career onboard a major cruise line as a singer in an a-cappella group. His passion to see the world immediately grew and he started working as a Tour Director for Scenic Group in 2007. He has continuously exceeded expectations and has won awards for his commitment and service. He was selected to assist in expanding the brand to new touring regions across the United States and has trained in the Cruise Director role on the waterways in Europe. Brent is thrilled to be back on the ocean onboard Emerald Cruises Luxury Yachts. His position as the onboard Lifestyle Concierge allows him to apply his many strengths to enhance the cruise experience for the guests. This involves assisting with the evening entertainment, supervising the marina platform and the water sports activities, managing the onboard boutique, and providing guests with information regarding Emerald river and ocean cruise destinations around the world.
