Spring is here! Come celebrate with a fun project that celebrates the season with festive flowers. This embroidery class covers a variety of embroidery stitches with easy techniques to make a beautiful piece of art for your home. You'll learn how to make flowers, leaves, and even lettering with fun, decorative stitches. This project is totally adaptable and provides room for your own creative design aesthetic. Expert instruction and materials provided. No sewing experience necessary!
ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR:
Sophie Kanter is a textile artist living in Washington, DC. A native of the city, she is inspired by plants and everything nature has to offer, in addition to beautiful modern design. Her practice includes natural dyeing, embroidery, cross stitch, and much more! The best part of her art is sharing the process with others and seeing the unique creations of others. In addition to art, she also loves chocolate chip cookies and other people's dogs.
