Embrace embroidery with a glamorous twist with stitcher to the stars, Chloe Patience, by learning how to use sequins, beads and more to create embroidered embellishments. Learn the essentials of hand embroidery & beading techniques with the award-winning textile designer as we explore hand stitching techniques incorporating threads, wools, beads and sequins, to create embroidered motifs that you can use to jazz up your garments, create unique artworks, or even turn into jewellery.
We’ll experiment with non-conventional and sustainable embellishment alternatives, learning how to use these in a professional and elegant way to personalise your wardrobe. As well as using the beads and sequins supplied, we will include recycled sequins and re purposed beads. A selection of beads, sequins and fabrics will be available in the studio but feel free to bring in any old necklaces or special beads and other materials that you might want to use.
