This embroidered agate slice beanie class will be held at The Art Lounge AK in Anchorage AK. You'll learn how to use 3-4 embroidery stitches, how to backstitch beads and how to attach a patch to a beanie. All materials will be provided for you and are included in the price of the course. In your kit you will receive one hoop with an pre-drawn agate slice pattern, one beanie, three bags of beads of your choice, embroidery floss, embroidery needles, a chunk of beeswax and beading thread. It is recommended to have some base embroidery or hand sewing knowledge for this course but it is not required. Like most fiber arts, embroidery takes time and everyone works at their own pace. It is possible that you will not finish your piece within the 4 hours of the course but I will provide materials for you to finish your piece at home and be available to help out at set times after this course. I will have a wide range of color options for beanies but if there is one you prefer for your course please contact me through email ([email protected]) or on instagram @AkWildRoseCo at least 72 hours before your course and I will do my best to accommodate you.This class is for 14+ with an adult or 16+ without.
