About this Event
Join Us for Embrace the Spectrum Spring Fling!
Join us for the Embrace the Spectrum Spring Fling, a fun and inclusive celebration designed especially for children with autism and sensory needs. This event will be held in a private room at the YMCA, thoughtfully curated to provide a safe, calming, and engaging environment.
Children ages 6 to 10 can enjoy a variety of activities, including bouncy houses for smaller children, crash pads for safe play, and a beach-themed sensory area designed to spark creativity and relaxation. The space will feature low lighting and low music to ensure a comfortable sensory experience for all attendees.
This event is all about connection, acceptance, and joy, giving children the opportunity to play, explore, and be themselves in a supportive environment.
- This is an indoor event to help prevent eloping and create a more secure environment.
- Entry will be available directly from the outside for ease of access.
- A liability waiver must be signed upon arrival for participation.
- Each child will receive a gift bag to take home.
- OSHA-compliant headphones will be available while supplies last to support sensory needs.
- There is a bathroom located right beside the room
- Please try to avoid bringing other children who are not on the spectrum due to the room being small. This is our first event, and we will continue to grow and bring more opportunities for siblings of our children on the spectrum to participate.
