In Embodying your Essence we will begin by releasing tension in the body and gently letting go of patterns that may restrict us or hold us back. We explore movement with presence and awareness... "being moved“ by the greater flow of life and our true essence.
This workshop is designed to be a meditative, healing and nurturing experience for everyone and is not performance based.
We listen to the impulses in the landscapes of our bodies and in the vibrant space around us-expressing our dance without judgement and flowing in connection with ourselves and each other.
Your Facilitator Christine Jaroszewski is a Professional Dancer and Yoga teacher from New York now living in Perth. Christine trained as a dancer at the American ballet and Canada National ballet school.
After experiencing an injury Christine trained as a yoga teacher in Gyrokinesis giving a holistic understanding of the human body and deepening into a direct experiencing of movement as healing somatic journeying and mindful heart based awareness grounding in the body.
